What's New : Milk liners go square

Square milking liners, developed by Skellerup Industries, are radically different from others available, with a square-shaped barrel that is designed to resist cup-slip and prevent teat damage by allowing unrestricted air-flow around the cow?s teats. It has been proved in many large-scale dairy operations in the US and Europe. The new liner has a corrugated flexible section in the tail-piece, reducing cluster ?pull? on cows? teats, a vacuum shut-off groove to maintain vacuum when cups are off and a reinforced ?bumper? section to resist splitting at the claw-end. Skellerup claims quicker and more complete ?milk-out? and improved udder health, leading to an increase in milk production and quality. The liners will be available from leading rural retailers from June. For more information visit www.skellerup.co.nz/vacplussquare or call Skellerup customer services on 0800 475 355.
